 Roadside Recovery - Solutions in India
Well, my pitch is that this is not really a publicity stunt. Mondial Assistance is a player of global repute & is commencing to set up an organized Roadside Recovery (+more) service in India.
Attached are a few photos that show the state of recovery services available usually. (2nd & 3rd Photos). I am sure that none of us will want even our M800s to be handled by those mean machines!
Then comes Mondial Assistance offering. 4th picture is from what Mondial Assistance has put up. This is a professional recovery machine with a fantastinc loading arrangement. The down side of the Mondial Assistance proposal is that with 20 odd trucks they plan to provide a pan India recovery solution!!! Considering that they are already tying up with MB, Ford & the likes...it is anybody's guess to understand the availability & lead time in case your car needs recovery services.
The first picture is BMW's proposal. Looks neat. Available 1 unit per dealer. No tall claims in news papers but very effective...Atleast that's what I learnt when my 530d ended up with a broken rim & tyre. |
