The bank cannot keep the original RC with them nor can they ask for your DL. On the RC it will be mentioned hypothecated to HDFC bank. Its no use talking to the phone representatives, maybe they are not aware or are trying to act smart. Visit the Loan branch personally and talk to the manager, I am sure that it would be sorted out. |
