Any ideas how I can locate the underbody problem and get it rectified. Or is the dealer waiting for the warranty period to expire so he can charge me for correcting this?

if it comes only in the rains then that comes from the brakes(especially the rear drums).dont do anything.
it can also be the wheel bearings.
