I think he never obeyed to consede to Ralph as Ralph was never ahead of him by a huge margin and he favored his chances. Besides Williams never made pit strategies to favor Ralph. I think Mc Laren are heavily favoring Kimi and this any blind man can see. To put Kimi on one stop essentially meant that if he didnt make any unforced error, he would have won the race any how as JPM was told not to push and conserve his engine.
