I do not know about the second incident, but, unfortunately, the first incident is true. This was confirmed by my colleague who happens to know it from the horse's mouth. Also, NDTV today flashed the news that some "x" number of railway employees were suspended in Bangalore for assaulting a software engineer. I saw that flash in the morning news. So, I guess it should be true.
