Fond memories. We had an Ikon 1.6 too some years ago. I really fell in love with that engine - which even in stock form would do wheel spins easily in 1st gear! It was geared well, looked stunning, had a lovely low-mid torque curve (which I personally prefer) and handled brilliantly. To this day, I prefer the Ford 1.6 to the Baleno 1.6 engine.
