Hello everybody

This is Mridul from Chennai and this is my 1st post.....I m an Automobile engg by profession and work for an Auto battery manufacturer...Passion for cars & bikes are high that my wife comes second....I own a Maruti 800 5 Speed kitted with a Tyfoon K & N filter and performance exhaust customised in Chennai.The engine is kept stock.Tyres are upsized 155/70/12's on alloys.....when I picked it up it had clocked 16000 kms and I ve had fun driving it around.....Now its done close to 60 and still rocks.....It has taken all kinds of roads and terrains and has never let me down.....As I ve worked in Maruti earlier I do know the limitations this Indian MINI has...To keep the revs under check it is kitted with a shift light equipped tacho.....

My next upgrade would be polishing the head to keep it in good rhythm.....Power is not a issue even with AC on....I donot say it can take the pants off any sedan but it can keep abreast as long as its got the steam....My next car would be a Swift and plans are bigger .....Would welcome ur suggestions and queries...Do write to me if u need any assitance in getting ur Indian Mini.....Souped up.....
