1. You can remove the Accent and the Fusion from your choices. The former is old and will soon be replaced, while the latter is a Hatch at Sedan prices.

2. There's some more confusion, apparently - the guys at Bangalore say the petrol Elantra is available for Rs.6.88 lakhs ex-showroom, which will fit nicely into your budget. Much bigger car too!

3. Then there's the Petrol Innova - I'm not sure of the pricing, but they should have a G version of that too...
