I get your point, but my experience is that to enjoy all of this one needs to be in a theater style environment, without people coming and going, and also with no worries about the sound making a nuisance to neighbours and others in the house. If one can have that kind of a dedicated sound proof room, a dedicated HT set up is the thing to have.
