amp runs at the ohms of speaker. BTW we call it impedance not ohms
the impedance of a speaker is mentioned on it. it can be 2 ohm 4 ohm or 8 ohm, generally 4 ohm as the other guy said
u can even measure it by using a multimeter
if u connect 2 speakers in parrallel the net impedance is divided by 2 and in series it is mulltiplied by 2.
summary
2 speakers in parallel each 4 ohm makes a load of 2 ohms or u r amp
2 speakers in series each 4 ohm makes a load of 8 ohms or u r amp
u definately get more power @ parallel @ 2ohms
