Hey, you need to understand that N20 is harmless by itself. Well, it's good for a laugh and forty winks...

Now if you over nitrous your engine, it will run lean, and blow up. Just like if you were to run too lean, ie not enough fuel and too much air.

If your nitrous leaks, nothing really happens. Your engine will flood because extra fuel is being injected, but no nitrous to burn the fuel. So you will slow down.

There are two dangerous instances:

1. Over NOSed and engine blows. A really bad blowout could be dangerous, ie damage firewall and compromise passenger safety.

2. Nitrous leaks from tank at high rate. Then the tank acts as a missile and flies around. Like the end of Gone In 60 Seconds, except the missile is inside your car.
