What else do you think is happening??
The guy who could only afford to walk now has a cycle, the guy who had a cycle now has a bike or something similar, the guy on the bike has a M800 or alto, the guy in Alto is riding a Lancer/City type car..the guy with city has upgraded to sonata or accord or even camry and then those guys to C class or may be E and those guys to S and then there is no upgradin..if you can afford anything more than that..then its hardly called upgrading..
our duty system needs to come down..we can see why singapore needs it or HK but not india man..25% for built in india cars and 40-50% for imported cars..that should be it..
