Not very long ago a Baleno belonging to the JK team was found to be using the uniball joint instead of silent block mounting, he won the race, but during the post race scrutiny it was found out and the points awarded was taken away. Uniball mounting is not allowed.

I have heard that some rally cars use uniball joint suspension mounting instead of the silent block mounting. I was wondering what this uniball joint is and where it sits.
