Humyum Bhai...! Don;t get so worried...! Its normal for an alteranator to have certain operating range..If the difference is not great that means its doing just fine...!
All electronic meters have different resistance capcit...so their will be a difference in readings in most of them...Since however I will suggest you to trust your Maruti Dealer's equipment.
There appears to be no problem with your electricals now, No surges, No fuse blown, No dimming...So No Worry...! Its all fine..!
The Only advisable thing you can do, to get the though out of your head is, to get the alternator cleaned, with time, there is lot of dust and carbon which deposits inside the motor windings causing low performance and low current- You can get this cleaned at any good Maruti Workshop or a good electrical motor works..somewhat like those which repair and do motor re-windings for Water Pumps...!
Changing a battery is a only a temporary solution, if the alternator is really producing low current then the battery will not sustain the charge for long...So don't worry Your Exide is the most dependable battery you can find...!
