Hi guys,

Here is the quote I got from the Thane Tata dealer for 1.2 NV ELX. I want your views on it. Also, can those who bought 1.2 ELX recently share their opinion and quotes on this?

Where can I bargain for?

Option 1. Without Finance:

Basic Cost (ex-showroom): 412513
Registration: 33876 (rates have increased since May 8)
Insurance: 15645
Octroi: 19064 (since I stay in Thane, Thane Octroi is applicable)

Total: Rs 481098
Discount: 20000

Net Total: Rs 461098

Free accessories: Mud flaps, Matting, Ambipure (car freshener)

Option 2. With Finance (for 5 yrs, ICICI bank):

Basic Cost (ex-showroom): 412513
Loan Amount (90%): 371000

Margin Money: 41513
EMI: Rs 8489 per month (at 13.75% i.e. 2288 per lac)

Registration: 33876 (rates have increased since May 8)
Insurance: 15645
Octroi: 19064 (since I stay in Thane, Thane Octroi is applicable)
Stamp duty: 1855 (at 0.5%)

Total downpayment: 120442 (including 1 EMI)
Discount on the above: 36000 (includes dealer discount and bank discount)

Net downpayment: Rs 84442

Free accessories: Mud flaps, Matting, Ambipure (car freshener)
