THe lancer cedia is based on the EVo platform- yes.

BUt the mods are So extreme that the two cars should be considered different. for eg. cedia is FWD while EVO is not. better Chassis and suspension, recaro seats, engine ECU, etc etc etc.

the engine used is also the same. Hence the reason why you cannot extract as much power from a corolla, Elantra, optra as such. Civics still makes some good tuner cars and is comparable. But there are n number of mods and parts available for the lancer platform. Search the market and you will be able to Make cedia go as faster as you want.



The 2.4 lts Mivec engine generates 162hp for the Lancer ralliart in US. SHould be the same engine the Indian rallies will be using. But is there a 2.4 ltr class et al? I wonder why HM didnt bring this one to compete with Skoda RS.
