my suggestion find a safari engine and plonk it in,reasons to support
1- it will be straight fit,minimal modifications
2- you can get the vehicle serviced at tata motors service station
3-sourcing spares wont be problem | Is the Safari's engine a straight fit?? Maybe you will need some mods on the engine bay and other mechanicals.
