I can very confidently that 1/2 an hour on Airport road on Monday morning, will make even our PM behave discourteously. It is very easy to sit on a high chair (and that is not only for the PM; it could be any one of the numerous politicians who get escort cars and VIP treatment) and advise people; but when you have to spend 30 minutes every morning and every evening trying to get past KR Puram or Marathahalli bridge on any weekday will make even the most normally courteous drivers resort to swearing (at the government and at each other). |

. What's more, instead of giving armchair advice, the PM should initiate measures to make life better for motorists, like expediting the construction of roads and cracking the whip on corrupt contractors and government agencies who do a substandard job, miss the deadlines and make life hell for us. While he's at it, he can also do something about the RTO giving licences to anyone with 500 bucks in their pocket. He can also address the issue of corrupt traffic policemen who make it easy for anyone to get off easy with breaking the rules as long as they pay 50-100 bucks.
Then he can talk to us about manners.
I have the greatest regard for out PM, but in this case I believe he's behaving like a typical politician and giving gyaan instead of actually doing something constructive.
