If u had retained old vent cap then thats good....good arrangement considering the technical aspect of ur vehicle.....
I too made slight arrangent in ozone setting....earlier I connected directly to manifold vacuum.....but I decided to go for "T" joint without disturbing the original vacuum setting....so exactly in same manner made T joint.....also adjusted carburetor setting.....now feeling increase in power....I tested my car on highway & found increase in performance...no top speed checking....just drove at 100....enjoying.....
