When you open CDex, go to Options > Settings. A dialog box will open. Click on the Filename tab, and you can set the file name format in what ever way you want to.
I use:"%1 - %2 - %7 - %4"
%1 - Artist
%2 - Album
%7 - Track number with leading '0'
%4 - Track Name
When you first put in the cd, and run a CDDB query, it will pick up the artist & album name. these details will be seen in the appropriate fields in the main appln window. Edit the fields here if you need a different format than what it picks up.
There is a '?' next to the Filename field, which will give you the options and the meanings. Let me know if you need more info.
