Here are some pics of the iridium

first we will go for the midbass

it is a non press paper cone with a 3 inch vc. first when i read 3 inch vc on a 6 1/2 driver i as shocked had waited to see it in real here is a pic of the same...

Nominal power handling 100 W
Maximum power 160 W
Nominal impedance, Z 4 ohms
Sensitivity, 1 W / 1m 89 dB
Frequency response 55-5000 Hz
Fs, resonant frequency 53 Hz
Voice coil diameter 75 mm (3î)
Voice coil height 13 mm /0,5î
Voice coil type / former Aluminium
Voice coil wire Aluminium flat wire
Number of layers 2
DC resistance 3,50 ohm
Voice coil inductance, 1 kHz 0,67 mH
Magnet system Vented hybrid
BL product, BXL 7,16
Max. linear excursion, X max +- 3,5 mm/0,14î
Suspension compliance, CMS 411
Mechanical Q factor, QMS 2,27
Electrical Q factor, QES 0,40
Total Q factor, QTS 0,34
Mechanical resistance, RMS 2,75
Moving mass, MMS 16,6 gr.
Equivalent Cas Air load, VAS 12 liters / 0,434 ft3
Cone / Dome material Non press paper

now comes the mighty dome....

here again the dia is 3 inchs which is again a unusual size for a dome midrange........
Nominal power handling 100 W
Transient power 160 W
Nominal impedance, Z 4 ohms
Sensitivity, 1 W / 1m 91 dB
Frequency response 250 Hz - 8 kHz
Fs, resonant frequency 250 Hz
Voice coil diameter 75 mm (3î)
Voice coil height 6 mm / 0,24î
Voice coil type / former Aluminium
Voice coil wire Aluminium flat wire
Magnet system Neodymium
Magnetic gap height 4 mm / 0,16î
X-max +-0,5 mm
Dome material Doped fabric

now the tweeter

it is a 1.1 inch dia tweeter

Nominal power handling 60 W
Maximum power 80 W
Nominal impedance, Z 4 ohms
Sensitivity, 1 W / 1m 91 dB
Frequency response 1 - 25 kHz
Fs, resonant frequency 900 Hz
Voice coil diameter 28 mm /1,1î
Voice coil height 2,2 mm / 0,087î
Voice coil type / former Aluminium
Voice coil wire Aluminium flat wire
Magnet system Neodymium
Dome material Hand treated fabric

now the crossover

One thing bad about them is that the midbass and the tweeter on one crossover and the midrange on the other

The crossover frequencies in the system are approx. 350 Hz and 7 kHz

more details will be coming up soon......
