I have just come out of a problem fix at the same place.
Dont waste your time with the supervisors and mechanics, they just want to push you through, hoping the problem gets fixed somehow or goes away. The supervisor there has no concept on what to focus on.
Go to the works manager (I think Mr Naik) and sit with him, preferable not in the morning and evening (when the rush is there).
My take is that maybe the bearing has not been seated properly, so after a little distance it heats up abnormally and therefore the increased friction. |
