I only have to say this - If GM prices the Captiva at 18-20 they can kiss their sorry *** goodbye! The market demand right now is for a good SUV in the range of 14-16L anything above & it'll sell like the Tucson/Terracan/X-Trail. Hell if priced right even crap like the Enadeavour sells in decent numbers, so IMHO the game for GM is to price the product right & not strip it down too much.
Priced too high the Captiva too will go the Forrester way.

HM Launching the Mitsubishi Montero for 29lks, the Fortuner might be priced anywhere near X-Trail! |
ID - The sales number for the models mentioned is paltry and the reason for discontinuing the Terracan was because of the poor sales. The Pajero/Montero has been around for a while and how many have been sold? I would be surprised if their total sales per year are even in three-figures.
