navin : Thats why I say IS is good. You can have slow shutter speeds without flash and yet not spoil the pic due to cam shake. IS give 2-3 stop improvement over normal handheld.
For example if you can take a pic at 1/60 without blur with IS you can saftely go to 1/15 at the same ISO, and 1/15 is good enough for indoor lighting.

aZa: Sadly for accessories you have to scour grey markets or import it. As for 6MP its good enough for even 10x14 prints.

At normal photo resolution, which you find in most photolabs you can go upto
20x13!
