Yes, how far I can see the road.
They have much better throw than the roots ones

Parking lights. Normal ones are yellow. So now the parking lights are same color as the headlamps

On a sidenote, these are not the best ones around. They are among the best if you want cool white light. If you are looking for pure intensity of illumination, Osram Silverstar are supposed to be the best, but I dont know wether they are available in India. On a clear lens headlight Osram Silverstar 60/55W will be good enough for highway driving too.
