toyota corolla 10000 km review .....
it was a nice somewhat cool day in mumbai....
date was some december 2002.
my ikon got a small dent in it so nmy dad came back home and broke the news to me ......
instead of getting it repaired he had decided to sell it off along with my beautiful diesel siena elps
so we were about to do soem new car shopping so i gave him my list - 1 . a black vtec with some acc.
2 . a blue skoda 1.9 tdi
but someway he saw my autocar come home bearing news of toyota launching the corolla....
this lead to several calls to shinrai toyota and by the 20th of dec. i had booked the car without even seeing it ......
anyways on the 29th of january we were called to the dealership where we were taken to the serice centre only to be shown a pearl white corolla h4..
we saw it properly and then confirmed our order of a blue h2..
we were shortly sent invites to the grand launch in some suburbian hotel - i think it was jw marriot
but sadly i couldnot go as i had exams ......
the car was delivered on the 24th of march - one of the first cars in whole of india - when i came back frommy school trip i was greeted by its nice and cheery interior
how ver on the 29th when me and my dad were oing with some of his friends for a ide on one of his friends yachts , a cabbie coming the wrong way on marinedrive came and banged it breaking the bumper , internally damaging the headlight and denting the side panel .....
nayway back from repairs it wasnt the same again ......
cost 50000 bucks.....
anyway the car has still being performing well but i do feel the tyres are a bit weedy and the car could use tubeless tyres..........
but i just love the engine , itys just so free revving and powerfull ....
wish it had abs ....
but the discs arer quite cool anyways
and the interiors tend to get dirty quite fast so a good cleaner always helps but i just love the ambience of space it offers ......
but its spares are a bit expensive
it cost me 10k to get my olhsv mirror when it was broken by a cabbie......so to all prospective owners please keep a stick handy with u and a good insurance will only help ....
anyway aprt from all of this theres no going wrong with the car and the service provided has been awesome...

the FE is around 8 - 9 in city and 14 on highway to pune ......
