Post Mods for Swift VDi

Have booked a Pearl White Swift VDi with ABS and now throughly confused what to do with the modifications.

Some Info about the car : -
  1. It comes with ABS.
  2. I will install Petes Tunning box in some time.
I have many queries and i hope they are clarified.

1) Tyres - Stock car comes with 165/80/14 which are too puny for the car. Plan to upgrade it but dont want to compromise on the ride too much. After test driving the ZXi with 185 JKs i was not at all impressed and the VDi being 60kgs heavier should need much fatter rubber. I have zeroed in on 195/60/15. Now the question keep the info about the car in mind is.
  • Will the ride being compromised too much??
  • Will i have to raise the springs ( MUL dealer told me i would to accomodate the 195s)
  • Any better size other then this.
  • Which tyres in that size?
  • ABS Should not fail, and at what point does it fail.
  • How much effect will it have on the FE.
  • Will it touch the inside wall on full lock.
2) Air Intake - Have been using a K n N conical filter and i find it totally value for money. Now i would like to go in for either Green Cotton filter or KnN for the Swift VDi as well. My questions regarding the same are : -
  • Which one should i go for? I mean Conical or stock replacement. I would like to go in for Conical but i am not aware about the system for Diesel Turbocharged cars.
3) Exhaust - Do free flow exhausts for turbo charged cars give better performance, if yes what all ca you change, headers et all

4) Rear Wiper + Demister - My dealer told me it will cost 9000 to install the wiper and 3000 to install the demister. Somebody on team-bhp said it costs 25,000 which i guess is wrong.

Please help me, first time owning a diesel car. Never liked Diesels but Verna and Swift just changed my thoughts about them.
