I wouldnt compare those two cars... Swift is way ahead of the Indica in terms of all parameters except interior space and price...

But at that price, i would prefer Swift... (Unless TATA offers 30k discount)

The engine is tried and tested in various markets... I dont think there should be much of a risk factor associated with it... Maruti has made huge investments on the diesel engine plant... So, they will only play it safe this time...
