Thats right....you should have absolutely no problems as regards the TN registration. Many of my office colleagues here in Bangalore are using their TN registered vehicles without any probs.
The second route via Tumkur, Shimoga, Honnavar is indeed best. This road infact should be better than the road via Mangalore both in terms of traffic as well as road condition (it was pretty bad in the ghats after Skleshpur though they have done patch work now). There is only one bad stretch though between Tarikere and Bhadravathi just befre Shimoga - even this should be repaired by now. |
