2 speakers in parallel each 4 ohm makes a load of 2 ohms or u r amp
2 speakers in series each 4 ohm makes a load of 8 ohms or u r amp
u definately get more power @ parallel @ 2ohms

if the speakers are connected in parllel then the result would be like this

1/r + 1/r + 1/r........ = 1/R

but if the speaker are connected in series then the result would be like....

r + r + r.....= R
