That made no sense. An induction note hardly means that the filter will give up. Also, if the Pipercross is more permeable to air, it will also produce a higher induction note, logically. And thirdly, a lack of fullstops makes all this very hard to read.

That's the wrong upsize. I'm surprised you are recommending such sizes to people. The stock size on a Swift is 165/80 R14 or 185/70 R14. The recommended R15 upsize is 195/60 or 205/55.
