what the hell's happening? forgive me for saying this guys, but though i'm a very very loyal and die-hard fan of MBs, even the current E has a tinge of Korean-ness to it. Like I'd mentioned in a thread before, I wud never buy the same designs if it came from a less prestigious manufacturer. It's just 'coz of the three-pointed star on the hood, what say? Is it MB's turn to copy Hyundai/Kia or whatever?
Remember the C-class predecessor (before the C, E and S nomenclature came out), the 190 E?? I'd pick that one in Porsche silver, subtle skirts all around, put a killer sound system and fat rubber+sexy wheels......and upgrade the engine too.
I dont think the newer cars can beat that design.........you cud, and still can recognize old merc designs just by the silhouette, but the same thing cannot be said about new MB designs. I guess that's what great designs are all about. GTO, u with me on this
