How come the Vitara is going to be made here? Surely, the local market is not big enough to justify the localisation. Or will India be an export hub for the Vitara too?

That said, there is seriously a need / empty segment for a good SUV. From what Steeroid reports, the new Vitara is better than even the much-awaited Toyota Fortuner. However, except for Honda, I dont see anyone being able to sell a petrol soft-roader and do hope MUL is planning a competent diesel.
