Thanks for the clarification.

My Take? I've not used Ractive or Green. I use a Uni on my ZZR, and a Pipercross on the Octavia. Both OE replacements. In our conditions, I prefer foam to paper, and would not mind the slightly more restrictive nature of the foam filters. Not noticed any change in performance in the car. On the bike, the induction sound is a bit louder, but I can't claim any power increase.

I've had a K&N on my ex-Katana, but then that came with the bike so I had no reference.

However, I plan on trying out a K&N replacement on my Octi to see if there is any difference. Will post my findings once I've tried it.
