Now if I remember correctly, the older 1.6 engines fitted in the old-look Sienas were 1580 CC and they pumped out 98 horses. Then the power was bumped up to 100 BHP with the new 1596 CC engine and a new 32 bit engine management system.And these were plonked in the Palios/New Siena.I am pretty sure about this.But anyways, I will check my S10 manual for this.

As far as I know, it always is the same DOHC engine pumping out 100
PS. I'll be keen to know if anyone here owns a GTX with 100
BHP output. I don't think there existed any 100
BHP version any time, but I can be wrong.
