The thing is...the wheels get power from electric motors and not engine directly. As soon as the electric motor is switched on you get the torque where as in normal IC engine u need the flywheel to start rotating then at appropriate revs u get different torque figures!!!Thats wat i could say in a untechnical language.. If any one can put any more info on this, please do!!
