AFAIK, the ONLY Fiat engine with 1580 cc of displacement was the one in the Tipo and Tempra in the '80s, which put out 83 bhp. The Grande Punto puts out a MAXIMUM of 130 bhp from a 1.9 JTD. Maybe you are referring to the rally-spec Super 2000 Punto Abarth, which puts out 280 bhp from a 2000cc mill, which is actually borrowed from the Alfa 156 WTCC car.

The highest specific output for any 1.6 litre engine is 200 bhp, on the old Nissan Pulsar/Sunny GTi-R.

Please stick to facts and figures, and make sure they are true. Otherwise I will be forced to bring in my 6 litre Hemi-powered Alto which gives me 38 kmpl.
