Yeah she's fine! As for the vent well one of the plastic locks broke so couldn't fit it back hence it was lying in the glovebox. Never thought that someone would think that the cavity from which there is cold air coming is a cubby hole for a mobile phone.

Agreed John but again I didn't in my wildest dreams think someone would actually put a phone there.

Well you know the worst part, before putting in my phone Sam had put in his own phone in the same vent but since his ohone is much thinner is got stopped by the raised border at the rear of the vent. Now, when he put in my phone there was no raised border & it slid right down to the bottom of the ducting!! I'm just thinking how funny it would have been if Sam's phone had gone down the ducting instead of mine!!!

No other way possible, had to remove the whole dashboard. It's an E50.
