Hey
E_L, let elf uncle show you how to add up numbers to end up with a single digit:
- Take a vehicle number, say MH-02-L-1861.
- Now take the last digits in the plate, i.e. 1861.
- If you add 1+8+6+1 you get a total of 16.
- 16 becomes 1+6 = 7.
- Hence, your total vehicle number is 7.
The above example is the simplistic form most people use.
If you wish to use the English letter numeric values for the Chaldean Method, it gets a little more complicated
Here are the English letter numeric values - Chaldean Method.
A= 1
B= 2
C= 3
D= 4
E= 5
F= 22
G= 3
H= 5
I= 1
J= 1
K= 2
L= 3
M= 4
N= 5
O= 7
P= 8
Q= 1
R= 2
S= 3
T= 4
U= 6
V= 6
W= 6
X= 5
Y= 1
Z= 7
Hence. going by the above example of the number plate, i.e. MH-02-L-1861, it would become:
M= 4
H= 5
0= 0
2= 2
L= 3
1= 1
8= 8
6= 6
1= 1
Total: 30 or 3+0 = 3.
