Indeed, the route towards Mussoorie is from Meerut. What I meant was that the road via Gzbd is not safe at night, be it towards Haridwar or Hapur. Sorry for not being clear.

Chail palace is another beauty built in a secluded place. Very serene. Next time I shall visit around Dec when I get to see the snow. Shimla is s**t at this time with all the crowd and anyways IMO.
