By the way, the front-right tyre's valve was gone and got it replaced/repaired from a local mechanic.
Two questions:
1. Can I claim warranty for the tube now, since the valve had to be replaced so soon.
2. Attaching the pics of my front-right tyre. Does it look good ? Is this how it usually should be ? The slight bulge in the tyre when seen from the front disturbs me :( |
As pointed out, you may not be able to claim warranty for the tube. And it is quite possible that because of the tube valve failure, your car may have been running on low pressure at the front right tyre, which in turn might have caused the tyre sidewall failure. I hope you are using at least the recommended tyre pressures for your car and checking the pressures regularly. The tyre manufacturer only guarantees against manufacturing defects. In your case it may be difficult to convince them of such a defect, although they may still accept your claim as a gesture of good will.
