so i happened to complete 130 kms as of now. since the last fuelling of about 14.2 litres, i ve completed some 103 kms. so thats about 7.35kmpl, but i ve still got loads of fuel left, and the FE is climbing. full tank to full tank is the best way to measure i agree. so lets wait and watch.
i still got to fit all accessories, damn i never get a saturday free to do that. i use a.c off and on and tend to remember mclarens driving style video, by the time its 1.5k rpm, change the gear. so lets hope this positive driving style will also soothen my senses and increase FE.
that said, the clutch is damn hard, and i m getting used to it until it loosens up a bit. hopefully that will happen around 1-2k kms from now on. i ve pushed the seat back as much as possible heeding docs advices for knee pain and the pain is lesser. stop and go traffic is a pain thanks to the "wonderful" torque!
the tyres are doing their job, i ve taken turns at 60-70 and cornering is an absolute pleasure with the michelin pilots! i would recommend these tyres for anyone and everyone looking for an upgrade. they are awesome.
the gear shift is a bit notchy on the third but overall ok. i never seem to get the third right especially when i move from fifth back on. i ve got used to the visibility conditions somehow and i wear seatbelts always and kind of used to driving this beauty now.
will keep you posted on FE figures. remember 7-8kmpl is not the FE, i still got fuel in my tank so far. the trip meter comes in handy for this measure!
