I don't think there is any special technique to steering with ABS.

It gives you a better chance, that's all. And if the 'obstruction' suddenly in the road is soft and human, it gives them a better chance too.

Alternative is to take a course on how to handle and recover from a skid, the best part of which should be how to drive so that you never do! Except, of course, for a wheel-locked straight-line skid to a halt in a non-ABS car.

All these techniques only get used in emergencies, and, the better we drive, the fewer the emergencies --- so the less the practice.

Any skid rinks in India where one can learn these things?
