What other modifications have been done to the THAR CRDe, apart from Twin shock setup, and front SA?

Approx costing for the project please?

I want to know whether Solid axle is of Thar MDI or some other vehicle (maybe Utility pikup / FC).

Hi Andy, the Solid Axle is from an Armada 4x4. I was told by the scrap dealer that it was a 2002 Armada.

I will certainly open a new thread, but this will have to wait till next week as I am travelling and would not have access to pictures that I would like to post.

If you have noticed, the Thar still retains its R&P steering along with the tie rod! We had to fabricate special steering arms that bolted onto the knuckle.
As far as technical modifications are concerned, these were the only ones. On the bodywork we redesigned the fenders and extended them by 4". The Thar got and external roll cage in the front and we installed Rally seats. Special under body plate was made to protect the gearbox and transfer case.
