Thumbs up Two of the best Offroad Channels on YouTube - Ronny Dahl & Andrew St. Pierre White

I have seen a couple of threads on TBHP about some YouTube channels posting amazing content on Automobiles for us enthusiast's viewing pleasure. A few examples are below.

Chris Harris (Chris Harris' car reviews & videos)

Motor Diaries India (Motor Diaries India: A YouTube channel for Classic Cars)

And there are more. There are even various threads where BHPians have posted interesting videos and discussed them.

However, this thread is for those who are interested in 4x4 Overlanding and Tip/Tricks. These are the 2 channels which I consider one of the best content on YouTube about 4wheeling. Their YouTube Channels and Websites are one of the best treasures for off-roaders and overlanders in my honest opinion.
  • First One is Ronny Dahl

Ronny is from Western Australia and runs his YouTube channel very religiously, uploading interesting videos every week.

Quality of Ronny's Content: Top Notch!!! Honestly, I love to run his videos on my 50" LED at home and enjoy it even more. Excellent shooting, editing and content. And best of all, being on YouTube it is Free of Cost!

  • The other Channel is 4XOVERLAND by Andrew St. Pierre White. Andrew has been 4wheeling almost his entire adult life and has posted a lot of stuff from Africa. He is currently travelling in Australia and I am sure the content from Oz land will be even better.

A couple of Andrew's videos on YouTube are not HD since they were shot in pre-HD era, however the content is top notch again and I love to watch his videos as well.

A lot of these videos contain tips and tricks that apply to 4wheelers and off-roaders world-wide and we are no exception. I have been taking a lot of cues from their videos to improve my 4 wheeling skills.

I am listing a few of their awesome videos for rest of the BHPian's viewing pleasure.

Ronny Dahl's Tips/Tricks:

And there are his series videos. I specifically love his touring series as well as Modified episodes where he invites various owners to explain their modified vehicles. Great way to learn how others do things. I will not bore you all with a lot of Modified Videos, I am simply going to post one video and that will give you some idea. Love this one since this particular Hilux has given me a lot of ideas to modify my own Fortuner in India. Explore his channel for more Modified episodes.

His touring videos are pretty cool to watch. Below is one example, rest can be explored on his channel.

Coming to 4XOVERLAND channel, Andrew's content is more about full length documentaries that he has made in the past. Some of the most amazing content and documentations on 4wheeling.

Please check Andrew's channel for a lot more of his TV series and videos. I love his content, although some of it is a bit dated, the principles of 4wheeling still apply.

What else both of these legends did a couple of videos together as well. A treat for us fans!

Enjoy!

PS: Mods, I realized there are simply too many of the gem videos. Apologies if you guys feel there is clutter in my post.

I will have to blame you for making me a fan of Ronny too. I am becoming a regular at his channel and Over landing in a LC79 has made an entry into my dreams.

I will also vouch for the content on his channel and the videography and editing is really excellent.

CHEERS!!

Wow what an awesome channel. Thank You so much for letting us know of it. Superb videos and most of it in lay man language, which is just amazing.

Fueling my off-roading dreams. One Day, yes One Day I will have my rig.

I am not sure why I had not seen this thread before. I have been an ardent follower of Mr. Andrew St Pierre White for quite sometime, though I find him to be very pro Toyota. Never knew about Ronny Dahl, will start following him as well. Thanks for sharing this thread.
