Ya I just called them up. They said they don't rent it. I am going to buy it today evening.

995/- for a low altitude sleeping bag and 3800/- for a tent which can accomodate 2-3 people!

Hi all,
It is disheartening to inform you all that the Sakleshpur OTR is being postponed to 2nd or 3rd week of November. Reason being , the guide Mr. Vikram Gowda, a jeeper by himself is out on personal commitment. As we were going through trails of Off roading entering some of the private properties, Mr. Vikram would be the best help.
Sorry for dissappointing you all on nice vacation cum off roading.
Keep watching for this thread.
Warm regards,
Dwarak

Please try and make it for the 2nd week. If it is 3rd week, I may have to miss it :( ... And whenever I start dreaming and making plans, something like this happens. My luck, as always

Since the OTR is canceled, may I suggest a small OTR spot inside Bangy itself.
The place is right next to Pratham Motors, Outer Ring Road and is being dug up for some construction work. Will have to trace the owner and take permission for OTR though. Here are some pics I took with my mobile. Will try to post better pics tomorrow if people are interested.

Good initiative. Private properties are always troublesome. We jeepers avoid such spots. place seems to be exciting though.

Ok, I thought I will inform here in advance. I won't be able to make it to any trip this weekend. Some relatives are pouring at my place and there is no way I can leave them and go out

Sorry guys. You people have fun in the OTR, if any. I will watch this space for pics!
