yes, and more importantly , it also helps to improve the ride : the suspension becomes softer, since the friction between the leaves is reduced to a great extent.

yes, very true. This was one of the reasons for the excellent ride quality of the Rolls Royce, even during the era of leaf-springs in luxury cars.

This picture should give some idea of how dusty it was in some sections of the JT OTR.

And yes, this picture shows only ~25% of how dusty it actually was.

Exclamation

Anyone know the owner's contact number of this MM jeep number: KA 12 M 8737?

I wish to know more about the hi-lift jack that is hanging behind the jeep. Particulary whereabouts if trying to purchase one.

You don't need to hunt that Jeep owner for the info. Many Bangalore Jeepers have the Hi-Lift, even me.

You can get it from the shops named in this thread: https://www.team-bhp.com/forum/4x4-o...4x4-india.html

His vertical installament looked nice, but it didn't survive the JT event. I am thinking of horizontal installation on the side.

In the photos it looks easy trail but in real time its totally different, last time same track was slippery every jeep was struggling to climb except Gypsy.
