Default My membership request to WIOC.

Every time the message "The next OTR is on..." pops up on the TBHP screen there are 3 types of responses...the "immediate"--yeah count me in, the "cautious"..lets see if my vehicle is ready or the "hidden"..wish I could come OR wish I had the vehicle for this.

Put together it means "we all want to off-road".

There are so many enthusiast who would want to put their vehicles in dirt and taste the thrill.

We have amongst us MANY experienced "off-roaders" and MANY newbies(read new but serious) like me.

Why don't the SENIOR and the SEASONED form a OFF-ROADING club taking cue form the NIOC which is becoming an organizational "model".
We could arrange short trips, long trips and family picnics. In our region we have no dearth of tracks & places where could go. Only a little more exploration is required.
GTO,Dev,Allan et al ,we would request you guys to sincerely give a serious thinking about this.
I am ready to be a "volunteer" instantly.
I would request other like minded members to express themselves freely.
Lets visualize 'Western India Off-roading Club" WIOC.

I'm 982.03.39.515. (tejas)

Allan,

Can you please write the basic essentials that all of us need to carry. I've read the other threads on this, but please repeat it.

All i can think is:

- lots of water (drinking and radiator)
- basic first aid (my department, rest don't worry)
- extra hose pipes
- sun protection

- hi lift jack, tow rope i don't have

Also, can the other guys please list the vehicles you will come in.
Me, i'm in a Mahindra Classic (stock).

@Mohan, Awesome idea. I can help facilitate affiliations with WIAA if required.

I'm sorry- I wanted to be there to be part of the concluding OTR for this year- unfortunately had to leave for Nasik today.

Good luck to all- to keep the breakdowns at bay and to a successful winding up to the year!
