Oh! I am sorry Nitrous, I saw your reply only now.
I have been to this camp (only the camp) earlier in my fusion and i lost my running board on the way
Wonder what's in store for me when i head towards an OTR starting from this camp.
Of course, one advantage is that i have so many experts joining in. I shall take their advice and drive accordingly. If i still goof up, will park somewhere and hop into someone else's vehicle
Cheers,
Deepak

I am in for this with my family (me+3). I don't want a separate home stay, we will stay at the same place. One big, or two cottages will do. BUT i will not be able to come in my Jeep. I have a 4 months old with us, so Jeep is not as option for another 5-6 months. I will come in my Esteem, but I need to take my family to chomakunda, where i may require a Jeep/Gypsy. As per Deepak (Starter), it could be difficult for me to reach the camp site itself with my puny esteem. My family is not coming for OTR on monday. So "Ideas Please"

Thanks

Sree, don't you have a second driver in the family? Get both vehicles. That is how I managed to come Munnar in Jan with a 2 year old baby.

Hey Sree,
No no, i lost my running board because of a mistake from my side.
There is tall grass near the camp and i did not see a deep hole in front of me because of the grass and went inside it, thus losing my running board.
If you follow one of the Jeeps/Gypsies, they can tell you if there is such stuff and you would be able to comfortably reach the base camp.
Cheers,
Deepak
