Finject ,Thanks for posting. Those are actually the route to my farm and back . You can see the famous Chembra peak in the back ground. Its a major tourist destination and very good for trekking, hiking and camping site.

Chembra Peak - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

See below a small extract from above link.

Chembra Peak (Malayalam: ചെമ്പ്ര കൊടുമുടി) is the highest peak in Wayanad, at 2,100 metres (6,900 ft) above sea level.[1]. Chembra is located near the town of Meppady and is 8 km south of Kalpetta. It is part of the Wayanad hill ranges in Western Ghats, adjoining the Nilgiri Hills in Tamilnadu and Vellarimala in Kozhikode district in Kerala. Chembra peak is accessible by foot from Meppady. District Tourism Promotion Council provides guides and trekking equipments on hire charges to the tourists.[2]. Permission from the forest office in Meppady is required for trekking up to the Chembra peak. A heart shaped lake en route to the top of the peak is a major tourist attraction. The lake is believed to have never dried up. A 5 KM journey from meppadi town through tea estates to erumakkolli.

But I guess the trail they have chosen for tomorrow's MGE event is a different one. A tougher one I hope.

I got a chance to share some moments with Vinod and Behram sir. What I understand from the little chat with shibu's friend and Behram,Behram sir is giving a fully tested and Capable Offroader Platform.Buy it and do the modification and I belive it only needs some cosmetic modifications.

I missed the MGE Wayanad But I am sure you guys enjoyed it well.

Spike, the engine was brilliant. The terrain was sober. Only a few places were done in 4high as I did not want to strain the engine.
You should have come, had our own share of fun though.

Look forward to seeing you at Ooty.

Benny, good to hear that all you guys had fun. I will definitely make it for the event provided it doesn't coincide with my Sabarimala plans. I am told that our Jeep Captain has something up his sleeve.
